OIST researcher from Okinawa wins MEXT Minister Award in Science and Technology

Award acknowledges major efforts in advancing ADHD support programs for Japanese parents.

Dr. Shimabukuro is involved in the development of a support program for parents with children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)  in the Human Developmental Neurobiology Unit of Prof. Gail Tripp, who is involved in research on “healthy minds,” one of the R&D projects of this COI-NEXT center.
